- The "jacked up" segment on Monday Night Football really sucks. It's cool and exciting to see big hits, but I don't need a table of large men yelling at me. There are too many faces involved in these productions. Less is more.
- Is this not turning into the Golden Age of NFL football? Records are being broken everywhere. It seems like the rushing touchdown record will be broken every season now. LaDainian Tomlinson is making Shaun Alexander's record breaking campaign from 2005 look like a piece of cake. Chicago's Devin Hester just broke the single-season record for punt-return touchdowns. Green Bay's Brett Favre just became the completion king of the NFL. If you compare this to other sports, there hasn't been a slew of records being broken like this since the seemingly steroid-induced homerun slaughter in baseball with Mark McGwire, Sammy Sosa, and Barry Bonds. In the NHL, it may be a few more years until Sidney Crosby starts breaking all of Gretzky's records, but those are long-standing records from the 80's and early 90's.
