He can't help out their run D
The Indianapolis Colts may have signed Ricky Proehl at the perfect time.
Reports today say an injured Achilles' tendon may keep wide receiver Brandon Stokley out of Indy's lineup for the rest of the year.
Will it matter with that offense? Probably not. But Stokes was a good slot possession guy. Proehl should fill the role just fine, and unlike most people associated with the Colts' organization, knows what it's like to win it all.
